    Purchased mine in January, had it installed in June on new boat from the box. Nest season it was broken and Sony would not negotiate because it was more than a year old. Cost [$] to repair. 3rd season it was broken again, refused to pay another [$] to repair. Buy anything but Sony!

    This is the best radio I have installed or used in my boats. I love the XM, and adding the Sony remote makes this one of the mose user frendly systems. Great CD door system.

    The receiver worked for maybe 20 uses. XM Ready is on of there selling points. It will cost you about $100 to get this radio "XM Ready". You can take any receiver and make it "XM Ready" for less than that. Customer service is a nightmare at Sony. I waited for 50 minutes to talk to a CS manager. I have several complaints in to them and no one has the cortesy to call me. They would not pay for shipping the product back to them. After I received the product back they did not send me all my parts. Speakers have not been a problem. Not recommended for a boat!
