Comments about Okuma Okuma Halogen 7' 2-Piece Medium Spinning Combo:

After purchasing one of these combos, we picked up 3 more for the family and one for a buddy. They have performed flawlessly for about a year of yak fishing a minimum of 1x per week and often more. They have sealed drags and one had to be fished out of the bottom of the lagoon and when opened was dry as a bone. The combos have been ued to pull in 36" redfish all the way down to small pinfish with no trouble at all. The drags are smooth, retrieve sweet and the rod action beautiful. We had to exchange one as the handle started delaminating and Okuma was on top of things [...].The sole negative is that the electorplated parts will start to flake off. This has no effect on performance as the functional parts of the reel obviously hold up to the extreme salt conditions and all our reel internals and rods look brand new!
