Super for teaching young kids and newbies. My three year old is out skiing on this. It is very easy to use, but manuverable enough to cross wakes.

i have a 4 year old who was really scared the first time out. he overcame the fear of being in the water by himself when he fell. cool product, he now loves it. excellent tool to introduce youngsters to skiing.

Comments about Body Glove Body Glove Ski Skimmer:

You'll probably have to get in the water for the first few times to help them stay steady. But after a few times they get the hang of it and they can do it on their own. Once the kids got up and were riding around, it was great for the kids confidence on the water.

A must have!!!!

This item is the way to go to teach kids to ski/wakeboard. In one day we have a 4 yr old, 3year old, AND even a 2 1/2 yr old up and going for as long as they wanted. All 3 were turning with the boat and going over boat waves. We had someone out in the water with them, helping to stablize the board for a few seconds while they took off. Direction say to use a sandy beach, we don't have any of availbe. Won't need someone helping like that for long though. 1st time we had them going at 7-8 mph (4 mph for 2 yr old). Later had the older two up to 13-15 mph. They won't use this for long, but it a must!!!!

Comments about Body Glove Body Glove Ski Skimmer:

I got 6 kids ranging in age from 10 down to 4 up on the Skimmer this weekend without any trouble whatsoever. They ALL loved it- the adventurous ones, the not so brave ones- all of them.

The only downside occurred when a couple of the kids got a little adventurous and fell off. The ski flipped over without a rider and the curved tip caused it to dive down fast! OK in deeper water, but it would have struck bottom in shallow areas and potentially hit something/gotten stuck.
