I used this seat to replace the two seats in the cockpit of my bass boat. Always had to have one person sitting on a throwable flotation cushion which was hard to control. recommend checking width prior to ordering. 48" borders on too small depending on make of boat.

I have a small boat that had single type boating seats that were not comfortable in rougher water. This works perfect. I had to adapt the mounting system for my own use but it ended up working great. Thanks.
