Comments about US Reel US Reel 230SX Spinning Reel:
The U.S.Reel 230sx supercaster is everything it describes and then some.Everything U.S.Reels brags about in there casting ability and drag system is spot on.My reel, the 230sx says 14LBS max line capacity..i currently have 20lbs flourocarbon on it and with a 1/2 ounce weight i can effortlessly cast fifty plus feet..thats without ripping it..i use it to flounder fish..so with the heavier 1-1/2 ounce jig i really have to be careful or its out of site..and with lighter test line this thing will sling one out of site..it came with two spools..when i am not flounder fishing i swap for the extra spool with eight pound test on it and can cast anything i have in the box.i bet i could even through a fly out there..lol..the wider spool really helps to keep the line slap down on casting resulting in much futher cast with much less effort..and the drag is the only true constant drag i have felt..most reels load up then when the drag cuts loose it really lets loose..the supercasters drag is fine, constant and always steady..will buy again.but this time i want the 240sx..
