It?s no longer necessary to strong arm your boat through a turn. Teleflex has incorporated their patented No Feedback roller clutch mechanism into their precise rack-and-pinion steering system. You don?t have to fight the strong torque produced by today?s high powered outboards. The NFB Rack System was designed to fit the standard Rack system dash cut-out, so upgrading requires no modification. 4 turns lock-to-lock and a standard 3/4" tapered shaft. Fits single, non-power assist outboards. Good for boats up to 24? with wheels up to 16" diameter. Kit comes complete with helm, cable, 90 degree bezel, all necessary instructions.

Our old steering cable was damaged. We needed a shorter cable 13`.5 , but that size was not manufactered any longer. So we went to a 14`. It fit perfect not too long. I didn't want a 15`,as every one was suggesting. I didn't want to "try and hide it". I'm glad I found Boaters World. COM
