These shoes are comfortable and very durable. They wear well at the boat and are a good looking shoe. I've tried other brands in between, but they did not feel as comfortable. The Sebagos are far more "cushy" to walk on yet provide a firm support. The cloth laces are a definite plus as they do not twist from tying and they stay tied. My "retired" pair of Sebagos is still providing service around the yard chores.
