I purchased an inflatable boat and didn't want to use the bench style seats that came with it. I bought two base tube frames, attached 7 inch pedestals and added folding fishing seats. The front seat was too low and hit the side of the tube when turned. The option was to purchase a taller pedestal to lift the seat higher and I thought I was going to be stuck with an 11 inch pedestal. This new pedestal works like a charm and it's adjustable up to 17.5 inches. I'm glad I was able to find this adjustable pedestal during my internet travels.
