Schmitt has included many of the small details that the other manufacturers forgot in the Evolution steering wheel. They moved the knob from the outer ring down to the spoke to improve clearance at the helm and also added Delrin bearings to the knob to ensure years of trouble free use. Schmitt assembled the knob to the spoke without using locknuts, bands or bolts that can catch sleeves and cut fingers. These wheels are constructed of the highest quality marine grade 316 Stainless steel and are available in both 13" and 15" sizes with the patented Schmitt finger grip.
