Thicker formula resists sagging in vertical applications, yet still allows quick wet-outs of light to medium weight fabrics. MAS Epoxies FLAG Epoxy Resin is a medium body resin designed to perform as an adhesive and structural laminating foundation. Applications include filleting, fairing, laminating, gluing, barrier coating and cold molding. The medium viscosity allows for an easy incorporation of fillers when fairing putties, gluing slurries and filleting compounds are required. FLAG is more reactive than MAS Low Viscosity Resin when mixed with Medium Hardener, which keeps fillets and fairing from slumping. FLAG Resin is next day sandable when cured with Medium hardener at temperatures above 600F. FLAG Resin may be used with all MAS Hardeners, however, for filled applications we recommend Medium Hardener.

This FLAG stuff is incredible! I'm thoroughly impressed with MAS epoxies! When I used what was left of my other popular brand of epoxy (WS), the wet-out even using FLAG was simply amazing on 20 oz cloth. The epoxy seems to stick even better too when forming mechanical bonds. Low/no smell compared to that other popular brand. I did have a small problem in the middle of my work with some clumps in the FLAG that plugged up the pump. Turns out that if you warm-up the epoxy a bit in the sun, it re-liquefies (just like crystallized honey). With shipping, the price is about the same as what you pay at [...] for WS epoxy. Definitely get the set of pumps.
