Truth in advertising. This is an economy anchor. If you're like me and don't think you really need it, but are uncomfortable not having an anchor on the boat, then this is the one for you. On mine (maybe many of them) the slip ring couldn't slide up the shank, as the shank was too tight. That, and the other reviews about the slip ring breaking, prompted me to just cut off the slip ring. If I even need it, I'll just tie the rode to the end of the shank...
