I am using the hoister to raise and store a 10 foot wooden pram in my garage. It took me a while to figure out my rafter pattern in a newer dry-walled garage but once I had the hardware up, the rest was easy. Works very well at raising and lowering a 100 lb boat and I have capacity to store other stuff in boat also with 200 lb rating.
