This anchor has the traditional good holding power, which has always been associated with Danforth Standard Anchors. They have incredible holding power in sand, and are good in mud bottoms. The shank design ensures deep penetration. The shank is made of high strength steel, and the steel flukes are strong and wide. Hot dipped galvanized coating for long-lasting protection.
Anchor is great for purpose bought.

I would not recomend this anchor as a primary anchor but as a spare it is fine.
