The lever system makes it possible to pre-set tension to safe limits, then within a 120 degree arc engage or disengage the drag system or apply additional pressure. It also has set stops free-spool, strike and full drag pressure. With the International 2-speeds, a simple push of a button allows you to choose between speed for gathering line and power for pressuring big tuna, sharks, billfish and more. All Internationals feature machined one-piece aluminum frames, a forged aluminum spool, tempered stainless steel gearing, and sealed stainless steel ball bearings.
