This drag balances the two most important qualities in a drag, without sacrificing either - smoothness (needed to keep the hookset in the mouth) and high-end drag pressure (top crank a running fish to the boat or shoreline). These reels have been fitted with quick set anti-reverse, and guaranteeing rock solid hook sets. This makes the Line-Counters the only mechanical line-counter in the world to have infinite anti-reverse.
