At the heart of the new SI-TEX Ultracolor Plus C-MAP NT+ charting system is a 10.4" color active matrix LCD display with adjustable brightness & contrast for varying ambient light conditions. The built-in GPS WAAS 12-channel receiver puts your boat within 3 meters of your waypoint in most situations. Fast RISC processor and Dual C-MAP NT+ C-Card slots for in-depth charting-explore depths, natural features such as rivers, lakes, landmarks, currents, bottom types, and more. A unique programmable anti-grounding feature, the Guardian Grounding Alarm, lets you know if your current course takes you within preset distance of shoals, obstructions or other areas where the water is too shallow for your vessel's draft. The Tide Info feature uses local C-Card information to calculate tide graph for local ports while a handy Find Function uses local C-Card to locate nearest boatyard, bank and even the closest shower! An easy-to-use Joy stick pointing device controls on-screen cursor to plot, scroll, pan, and zoom from vast sea areas to harbor charts. Stores up to 1000 waypoints or marks, 50 routes of up to 50 waypoints per route or 5000 track points with 5 tracks of up to 1000 points per track using up to 7 track patterns. Coordinates can be displayed in Lat/Lon, Loran TD's, UTM or OSGB.
