The CP150 introduces a whole new set of features not available in any other plotter at anywhere near this price. The WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) uses a combination of ground-based stations and satellites to correct any error in the GPS signals. Using the WAAS network allows repeatable position accuracy to 3 meters. The CP 150 receives these correcting signals without a separate Differential Beacon receiver. The CP150 is a mere 4.4'' high, it can be mounted in the smallest of spaces. Don't let the small size fool you. The CP150 combines the outstanding accuracy of a 12-channel parallel WAAS receiver with a high-speed RISC processor and a 320 x 240 pixel high-resolution screen found in chartplotters costing twice as much. The CP 150 uses C-MAP NT electronic charts (sold separately) for enhanced charting. The built-in world map allows for quick, seamless panning and zooming with or without a cartridge loaded. When more detail is required the user will appreciate the simplicity of installing a cartridge into the front-loading door. The unique ''ShutterPoint'' cursor control key makes it simple to move the cursor to any point on the screen. The CP150 has all the features you expect in a chartplotter: stores 500 waypoints and 30 reversible routes; range and bearing functions; graphic positioning; and speed and cross track information.
