The carbon fiber composite, which provides maximum resistance to heat and abrasion, makes these cam cleats extremely strong, light weight, and corrosion free. The unique tooth profile and cam geometry grip ropes without damaging them, while a stainless steel multi-coil spring recessed in the upper part of the cam generates near constant torque, providing the highest pressure when the cams are nearly closed for secure cleating of even the smallest lines. Drawing the line through causes the cams to fully open minimizing abrasion, rope wear, and line entry effort.
