The SI-TEX SP-70 Autopilot will add relaxation to your cruising and fishing activity. Designed for most any boat and easily installed on outboard, inboard and sterndrive vessels. The SP-70 has an adjustable reversing motor pumpset standard for steering systems up to 18 cubic inches. The ultra-compact, waterproof Control Unit has simple keypad operation and large LCD display of heading course, rudder angle, operating mode and error messages and can be used as dash-mounted keypad or quickly and easily removed from mounting bracket for use as a handheld portable. If you like, additional steering stations can be easily added with optional plug-in connectors. The SP-70 is exceptionally easy to use. Just steer to desired course, press the PILOT key and the system takes over to steer you on your way. Automatically. A built-in Loran/GPS interface allows for precise course-line navigation along routes. Automatic Sea State and Trim Controls make using this autopilot a breeze, plus two rudder-response settings (high speed and low speed) with ten selectable levels of sensitivity for each setting allow you to customize the operation of this unit to suit you needs. A ghost rudder allows temporary autopilot operation in the event of Rudder Feedback failure and built-in diagnostic system (with visual and audible alarms) provide for automatic self-tests and automatic compensation of Fluxgate Compass. Finally, a backlit keypad and LCD display with eight levels of brightness make for easy nighttime use.
