The Fishfinder 100 was designed for the beginning angler, but by no means did Garmin cut back on the features. The 100 is packed full of power with 150 watts of RMS and 1500 watts peak to peak, the most powerful in its class. This unit is not just powerful but durable with its fully gasketed, waterproof, high impact plastic alloy for those rough conditions 30 miles offshore. The 100 use's a 200kHz transducer with surface temperature built in,working up to 200 feet accurately. The 100 is also built with all the alarm functions such as; depth, shallow, 3 size fish, and battery low alarm. But don't be intimidated by the technology. Garmin fishfinders are simple to operate, with features like a control bar that identifies the most commonly used fishing settings.
