The BBFF3 is Furuno's newest Fishfinder add-on module for NavNet series electronics. The BBFF3 is targeted toward those NavNet customers who are interested in adding a higher powered, full-featured Furuno Echosounder to their NavNet network, without necessarily adding an additional display. A 1/2/3KW dual-frequency Echosounder, Furuno designed the BBFF3 to work with any NavNet series display. The BBFF3 incorporates Furuno's exclusive FFS (Furuno Free Synthesizer) transmitter output, with a frequency range of 28.8-200 KHZ. It may be connected directly to a single NavNet display, or to as many as four NavNet displays when used in conjunction with an Ethernet hub.
