Take a state-of-the art DGPS/WAAS navigator, an advanced chart plotter and a powerful, dual-frequency fish finder. Now package them all in one compact, waterproof and durable unit and you have the GP1850WDF. Built to suit most sea going vessels, these advanced, rugged combination units offer the best accuracy available. The GP 1850WDF delivers highly accurate data and crystal-clear pictures on a 7" color TFT LCD screen powered by 8-channel WAAS GPS/DGPS receiver. Utilizing RISC processors the 1850W ensures speedy processing and quick re-draw of chart and nav displays. Furuno's GP1850WDF also offers the added bonus of a built-in WAAS and DGPS receiver, for a higher level of accuracy. You'll receive the most accurate position fix available when utilizing both WAAS and differential radio beacon correction methods.
The GP1850WD boasts extremely accurate and repeatable position fixes - 10m for basic GPS, 5m or better with DGPS and 3m or better where WAAS service is available. It should be noted that DGPS is currently more reliable and accurate, as the WAAS system is still currently under development. There is no guarantee of accuracy, integrity, continuity or availability of the WAAS signal. For that reason, the GP1850WD runs with DGPS as the default setting in auto selection mode. If the DGPS signal can not be received for any reason, the unit will automatically switch to the WAAS signal. Of course, you can manually set the reception mode as well.
Featuring user-friendly "soft keys" for easy menu operation, it accepts either Furuno or Navionics mini-chart cards for accurate coast lines, depth contours, buoys, lighthouses and other nav aids. What's more, this unit gives you an operator selectable (50/200 kHz) 600 or 1000 Watt RMS echo sounder. With multiple split screen views you can see charting, navigation, fishfinder and other information all at the same time. No other chartplotter/fishfinder combination unit in this class offers so many features. Waterproof. Size: 11.4" W x 8.5" H x 4.8" D.
